The first webinar session in a two-part collaborative series with the National Council on Aging (NCOA) and National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (NASHIA), will explore the connection between falls and traumatic brain injuries (TBI) in older adults. Learn about risk factors for falls and TBI, fall and brain injury detection assessments, and prevention and education resources. Part One will also include Falls and TBI 101, as well as strategies for service providers working with older adults and individuals with TBI.
 
This training opportunity is free and available to anyone. Participants encouraged to register are community-based organizations, professionals from aging and social service agencies, senior centers, Area Agencies on Aging, state departments of health, and health care professionals; as well as administrators and program directors with State agencies/universities/non-profits that specialize in TBI, and professionals who lead others in or are direct service-providers to individuals with TBI.
